When listing a home for sale, many people struggle with how to set up the space in a way that will appeal to buyers.
Here are a few simple tips:

1) Feature Space and Light
People buy space and light. Open the blinds, remove excess furniture and turn on the lights.

2) De- Personalize
You want the new buyer to be able to imagine themselves living in the home and not be distracted by your stuff. Remove things like family photos, reminders on the fridge, toothbrushes and other identifying items.

3) Remove the Distractions
Sometimes, it come down to the little things. Do you need to cut the grass, repaint the front door, patch that hole, fix the water stain, or clean the windows? Often, a good cleaning and fresh paint can take years off a home. Remove and repair the negatives that may catch a potential buyer's eye.
Remember: show off your space, not your stuff. Will the house make potential buyers feel calm or unsettled when they walk though your front door? Giving people a positive emotional response could get you an offer.
