Does Your Mood Reflect Your Space?

I have a large bay window in my living room. My favorite thing is to curl up with my coffee in the morning light and stare out at the trees in front of our house. It's incredibly calming.

But, when we were moving and called my office "the room of requirement" (it's where we hid everything we hadn't unpacked). It was the least productive room in the house. I couldn't stand going in there, let alone work, because it made me feel so overwhelmed.
Well, your space affecting your emotions is not just a suspicion, it is a well studied phenomenon.
This is an important thing to consider when looking to buy a home.
When viewing a potential home ask questions like:
How will I feel living here?
Does the house make me feel anxious or peaceful?
Will paint fix this problem or will I always be bothered by this?
Be aware of your space. It is possible it will make you a happier and more productive person.
